The CD-ROM contains a good selection of manufacturers and third-party data for valves and early semiconductors. The data is presented as the original books, with bookmarks to the individual data sheets for ease of navigation. Equivalents books are also provided to enable you to find an alternative device for your set, or to work out what that military coded valve really is.
If you are looking up valve data it is likely that sooner or later you will want to test valves. To aid this I have included operating instructions and valve charts for the popular valve testers (Avo, Mullard and Taylor).
The CD-ROM also contains a wealth of interesting and useful servicing information from period publications, as well as historical, design and general information of interest to vintage radio collectors.

All
data and documents are scanned at a high resolution,
and stored in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. They may be printed as required for workshop
use. With a standard inkjet or laser printer, the print quality is equivalent to a good
photocopy.
The CD-ROM can be used on any computer with a CD-ROM drive running Adobe Reader (Acrobat Reader) version 5 or later. It has been successfully tested on Windows Vista, XP and 2000, Mac OS-X 10.4 and various Linux distros with Gnome and KDE desktops.
