This DVD-ROM contains over 6400 service sheets and circuit diagrams, covering more than 8300 different models. The majority of the data covers valve and early transistor radios. A cross-reference index system is included, allowing quick and easy access to the data required.
All data sheets are scanned at a high resolution, and stored in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. They may be printed as required for workshop use. With a standard inkjet or laser printer, the print quality is equivalent to a good photocopy.
You may like to consider the cost of obtaining service data by conventional means - often £5 or more for a single service sheet. With this DVD-ROM you have over 6400 service sheets in a structured format for less than 0.5p each. You will be able to find the information required much quicker, and it takes a lot less storage space. Plus you can print copies for use on the bench without having to worry about damaging precious originals.
The DVD-ROM can be used on any computer with a DVD-ROM drive running Adobe Reader (Acrobat Reader) version 5 or later. It has been successfully tested on Windows Vista, XP and 2000, Mac OS-X 10.4 and various Linux distros with Gnome and KDE desktops.
The DVD-ROM contains all the data from the four CD-ROMs together with new data for over 3000 models. That's equivalent to over two CD-ROMs full of new data. About 50% of this new data is manufacturers service manuals.
